Although the Globus Turkey group of companies is the institution I started working for before I finished my university education, I would like to state that I am proud to be working within this company in my active business life. I would like to share with you this journey that started by chance in the Globus family. I found myself in the Globus family when my CV reached the hands of my manager, Cem Gezer, by chance.
When I told my manager, Cem Gezer, that I had just graduated, during the interview, he said, "Okay, you can gain experience here, you have been hired," while waiting for a negative answer, and introduced me to all the staff in the office as accounting and finance officer. I was incredibly surprised. Because today, many of our university graduates cannot find a job because most employers are looking for experience. Therefore, I felt very lucky. At that very moment, I promised that I would do all the work I was given, and that I would work in a way worthy of the title given by such an excellent manager.
“I STARTED WORKING AS A FRONT ACCOUNTANT”
At first, I started working as an accountant in our company. Afterwards, I started to run the general accounting and finance department thanks to the trainings given by my manager and the extra support he received from outside. Instead of reacting to minor mistakes I made during this process, my manager welcomed me with great understanding. Since the day I started my job, he has always taken me one step further by getting countless trainings and certificates in my field.
The Globus family, which develops day by day, continues to progress rapidly in the field of social responsibility. I am proud to support the aid activity we have recently carried out for the Küçükyalı Child Protection Agency as part of the social responsibility project.

Currently, I am looking at the accounting, finance and artificial intelligence unit by myself. I owe everything I learned, the self-confidence I felt, being able to finish the university with the first place and being able to do every job successfully to my manager. I had the opportunity to improve myself in the Globus Group of Companies. Now, I am advancing rapidly by taking bolder steps.
I would like to thank all my teammates, especially my manager, Cem Gezer, for being the light on this path for me, for supporting me in every field in every field that he can and within his power, and most importantly, for being able to stand on my own feet. My only sentence to describe my development in this process is that responsibility grows, people grow, but most importantly, as Steve Ballmer said; great companies and the way they work start with great managers first...
